A wonderful night at the cinema.
Well, that was the recipe at any rate. We went to see the Bourne Ultimatum last night, and it's a fantastically good film. Just two small problems - one, the very cool and heavily stylised in-the-thick-of-things camera-work probably came close to giving half the audience travel sickness. And two, the clomid's second major side effect (aside from the mood swings that had me bouncing like a yo-yo all weekend) is nausea. Massive, horrible nausea.
You do the maths.
Most of the way through the first hour, I realised I simply couldn't watch the damn thing! So I listened to it, and sneaked a full-frontal blast of disorientating picture whenever the action slowed down, but otherwise I was just pretty glazed over, or focusing on the nice, not-moving emergency exit sign. Jez (quite rightly) told me I should have let him know and left, and we could have gone back another day. Nevermind. We'll be getting it on DVD anyway at some point, so I can watch it again on a nice tiny screen at the far end of my living room sometime next year.
Ugh. I still feel horrendous. Well, I guess it means they're doing something.
