Who should YOU vote for in the US elections?
Try this Australian news quiz and find out!
Rather pleasingly, I come up with Barack Obama, with Al Gore as a runner up. I can live with that.
While I'm here, let's stick some more memeage (nicked from
julietvalcouer ) under the cut:
What D&D character class are you?
I Am A: Lawful Good Human Wizard (5th Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength-13
Dexterity-11
Constitution-12
Intelligence-16
Wisdom-14
Charisma-13
Alignment:
Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment because it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.
Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Class:
Wizards are arcane spellcasters who depend on intensive study to create their magic. To wizards, magic is not a talent but a difficult, rewarding art. When they are prepared for battle, wizards can use their spells to devastating effect. When caught by surprise, they are vulnerable. The wizard's strength is her spells, everything else is secondary. She learns new spells as she experiments and grows in experience, and she can also learn them from other wizards. In addition, over time a wizard learns to manipulate her spells so they go farther, work better, or are improved in some other way. A wizard can call a familiar- a small, magical, animal companion that serves her. With a high Intelligence, wizards are capable of casting very high levels of spells.

<Christmas meme
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper. I lvoe wrapping presents, especially those awkwardly shaped ones. I'd wrap all day if I could.
2. Real tree or artificial?
Real tree. This year's is rather small, but I'd never even consider artificial unless I was living in the wrong hemisphere.
3. When do you put up the tree?
It varies. Very early this year, but usually a few days ago, round about my birthday.
4. When do you take the tree down?
See above, plus two-three weeks
5. Do you like Eggnog?
Ugh.
6. Favourite gift received as a child?
The telescope. But I don't think gifts have ever been of huge importance to me compared to the event itself. If you get too wrapped up in the gifts, you risk disappointment. Love and laughter, that's what I want for Christmas this year.
7. Do you have a nativity scene?
My parents do - we got it out in Italy.
8. Hardest person to buy for?
Depends on how you define 'hard'. If I can't come up with an idea for someone, I ask someone else or buy something meaningless. It's a bit of a cop out, but it swings the balance from hard to easy. I guess it varies from year to year, so I'll just say Men, generally.
9. Easiest person to buy for?
Mum.
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
A broken umbrella from my aunt! [I'm sure it wasn't broken when it was sent...]
11. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail. This year, I've written a proper letter that made half the recipients cry...
12. Favourite Christmas Movie?
It's a wonderful life
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
ASAP
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Not as a gift, no.
15. Favourite thing to eat at Christmas?
Roast duck, prune and apple stuffing, almond rice pudding with cream, cherries and cinnamon, danish biscuits... everything, really!
16. Clear lights or coloured on the tree?
Clear
17. Favourite Christmas song?
Any and all carols, finishing off with a rousing Hark the Herald...
18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home?
So long as I'm with my loved ones, I could be on the moon for all I care.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Dasher, Dancer, Donner, Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Prancer, Vixen.
And Rudolph!
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
Star.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas Eve, after the dinner's eaten.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
Crowds. Tackiness. Materialism.
23. What I love most about Christmas?
What it means to me.
24. What I love least about Christmas?
Thinking about all those pounds of fat I need to lose in January!
